Calling all lil’ pirates!! Here is all the information you need to make the 2015 Children’s Parade the best ever.


Children’s Gasparilla parade will be taking place on
Saturday January24 on Bayshore Blvd.

Buses:
TSL will provide a bus to take us from Egypt Shrine parking lot (4050 Dana Shores Drive) to the float on Bayshore. Cost is $10.00 per person. You can purchase bus wristbands ahead of time by contacting Bonnie bonstrickland@aol.com or pay at time of boarding. Please bring exact change. The bus leaves at 1:30pm please be ready to board at 1:15pm.

Staging: We are #84 on Bayshore Blvd. between Chapin Ave. & Asbury Place. Please be at the float by 3:00pm. This is a family non-alcohol event. The float will provide water, juice, sodas and assorted chips. It will be a long day please make sure children eat a good lunch.


Safety: Each Thief is limited to two children. The children must be with the Thief at all times. Children must be out of diapers and under 18. Children under 12 must ride the float. Children 13 and older may walk but they must walk the entire 1.5 miles. Walkers are not permitted to get on and off the float.

Forms: All children must submit a notarized Children’s Wavier and Consent Form. There will be no Notary at the parade, forms but be done ahead of time.

Costume:
Thieves must wear full costume. Children can wear black pants or shirt, closed toed shoes and a white top. Pirate accessories are encouraged.

Parade Route: The parade begins promptly at 3:30pm at Bayshore Blvd. and Bay to Bay Blvd., ending at Edison Ave. and Bayshore Blvd. (1.5 miles) Please note: buses will take us back to the Shrine.
